There are inspirational messages posted above some of the urinals in the men's room at Taipei Main Station. Here's one:

Someting very phallic about the whole thing (you know, locomotive, urinal, all that). Use your hard earned skills in semiotics acquired in film studies and give us an analysis, please.

I think maybe the flowers betray a sense of fondness, but the cold and adamantine nature of the locomotive implies a hard exterior.

Actually, I suspect these signs were made by a woman, and the phallic qualities weren't even thought of.
